HAIR LOSS

Hair growth occurs in cycles. Each cycle consists of long growing phase (lasts between two to six years), a short transitional phase (transitional hair growth that lasts two to three weeks), and a short resting phase (lasts two to three months).

At the end of the resting phase the hair falls out, a new hair replaces it, and the cycle starts again. Alopecia is a medical term for hair loss. It can be caused by many factors from genetics, hormones, to health conditions, and drugs. The most common cause of hair loss in both men and women is androgenetic alopecia.

CARBOXYTHERAPY

Poor blood circulation to the scalp is partially responsible for hair loss. Injection of CO2 into the scalp results in improved circulation, causing the red blood cells to rush to the area bringing nutrients to the hair follicle.
