BOTOX Cosmetic: BOTOX Cosmetic is a natural, purified protein, administered via few tiny injections, aimed to relax wrinkles-causing muscles. It’s a FDA approved, nonsurgical aesthetic treatment, intended to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (the lines between the brows) in adult patients 18 – 65 years of age.
Botox Cosmetic can help smooth out facial wrinkles of forehead, crow’s feet, lower lids, bunny lines, radial lip lines, dimpled chin, down turned mouth, and neck bands. Results can be seen as early as 2 days and last between 3-5 months. After injections minimal redness (which usually resolves within 15 min.) is seen however, no downtime is needed. Occasionally, but rarely bruising may occur.
