RADIESSE® is a is a safe, FDA-approved, dermal filler made of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. It is injected into the skin through a simple and minimally invasive procedure. RADIESSE dermal filler is a great choice for total facial contouring adding volume and fullness. It can restore a healthy, youthful appearance and besides the immediate impact, it continues to work over time. After injection of RADIESSE, a process called collagenesis starts.

Collagenesis stimulates your body to produce new collagen and encouraging collagen to grow around the injection area, creating naturally younger look. Results are immediate and may last up to a year or more for many patients. You can expect greatly improved wrinkles, and smoothed-out depressed scars immediately after the injections. You may have a little swelling and/or some slight bruising lasting 24 to 36 hours. These can be covered with make-up. Aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (Motrin, ibuprofen, naproxen), vitamin E, fish oil and omega 3 fatty acids should be avoided 1-2 weeks prior to your injections because these may make you more prone to bruising.
