Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the gold standard treatment for spider and reticular veins on the legs. During the treatment , the incompetent vein or capillary is injected with a sclerosing agent, which irritates the walls of the vessel, causing it to collapse. The body then reabsorbs the vein. Proper venous circulation in the area is being restored as the blood is re-routed to a healthy vein.
